Advanced Maths offers an opportunity for students to take upper-level high school math classes online, in an independent study fashion. The student may study Geometry, Algebra 2, or Pre-calculus at his or her own pace. All curriculum materials are web-based, allowing the student to study anywhere there is internet access. A wide variety of internet resources are used, such as purplemath.com, themathpage.net, educational videos, and interactive web tools, to accommodate a variety of learning styles. Assignments are a combination of on-line, computer-graded assignments which give immediate feedback on how well the student is learning; and written, teacher-graded work.

Advanced Maths is recommended for students who plan to pursue a college education and who prefer to study independently. Good algebra skills are a prerequisite.
