The world is a complex being; made up of cells, organs, and a multitude of elements. This course will help you to understand the importance of knowing the tiny organisms that add to the beauty of this world. We will be looking at cells and their organelles along with the method of cell division and growth. We will dive into genetics and discuss why you have certain traits in common with your parents. We will discuss genetic disorders and recessive and dominant traits. We will look at current research on the topics of evolution, bacteria, viruses, and current disease threats. We will end the year with the nervous system where you will have the opportunity to discover what side of your brain is the dominant side. Through experiments and exercises, we will find the fun in Biology while also enriching our minds.
